are encouraged to stay and cheer the students as
they run. Volunteer hours completed by April 15
apply to this year’s requirement.
SPONSORING
We have volunteers willing to
contact prospective sponsors, but would appreciate
any help with leads, particularly with area
businesses. Or, if you are interested in contacting
a sponsor yourself and need help with a letter
detailing sponsorship options, contact Lori or Kari.
We have two types of sponsorships available:
-Event-related Items:
Sponsors’ company logos will be prominently
displayed on signage and/or screen-printed on
giveaways for participants. We will offer sponsors a
variety of options.
-Classroom Sponsorship: For
$2,500, an entire classroom of mathematics textbooks
can be purchased. The sponsor’s name and/or logo
will be placed in a bookplate in each textbook,
acknowledging the generous support of our school.
PLEDGES AND AWARDS
-Students can get pledges in
any flat amount. Fifty percent of donations made by
school families apply toward the 2007 – 2008 Parent
Club Fundraising Requirement. All donations are tax
deductible.
-Please collect pledges as
they are made. Between March 3 and April 3, if you
turn in at least $50 in pledges by Thursday of each
week, students will get free dress on the following
Monday (winners will be notified on each Friday)!
-Prizes will be awarded to
individuals with the highest fundraising total, the
class with the highest fundraising effort,

completed in their class, and more. Awards will be
announced at the 12:30 assembly.
