Chess Club Begins Wednesday, August 31

Chess Club is open to students in first through eighth grade. The club meets every Wednesday during lunch in the primary science classroom. Students may bring their lunch to the club and eat while the learn and play chess. No prior experience with chess is required. The first meeting will be next Wednesday, August 31.

Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity at St. Ignatius, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group before volunteering.

THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
