Dear St. Ignatius School Parents and Guardians,

Over the past year, our Catholic School Advisory Commission, Parent Club, and I have discussed providing an opportunity for all shareholders to get together to hear current information regarding our parish school.  We are committed to working with you as companions in our mission to educate our children.

I hope to host at least three meetings a year to discuss various topics and to provide an opportunity for an open question and answer time.  Our first get together is scheduled for this Friday, Nov. 21 from 8:10am-9:30am in the Parish Center Garden Room. 

While informal, I will have an agenda that covers some hot button topics.  For this particular meeting I will touch on our most recent accreditation, our current budget, and the work of several committees that are behind the scenes to ensure that the school provides the very best that is possible for our children.  Some of these committees are:  Facilities (Safety and Security), Athletics, Technology, CSAC, Parent Club, etc….   I will also be sharing information regarding the upcoming Capital Campaign.  I envision a round table discussion and seek your input and would like to answer any questions that you might have.  I have found over my twenty-eight years as a teacher and administrator at St. Ignatius School, it is the partnership between the staff and our parents that is critical to our success.
