Arrival and
Dismissal
School hours for TK students are AM: 8:00-11:00
and PM: 11:45-2:45. On minimum days the hours for ALL TK
STUDENTS are 8:00-11:45. Monday mornings we have assembly at the

details on drop-off and pickup procedures. THE FRONT PARKING LOT IS NOT

from the rear or side parking lot by an adult or older sibling.
Students who attend Extended Services will be walked over by a staff
member. At the end of the day, the teacher will walk students to
Extended. Parents are to wait outside the gated area by extended. If
your student is to go home with someone other than you, the parent,
please send a note on that day letting me know. Early dismissals-a
note is needed for leaving school early. Your student will meet you in
the office at the appointed time.
IN
TK, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CHILD WALK INTO THE CLASSROOM BY
HIM/HER SELF. OUR DAY BEGINS AS SOON AS I GREET THEM AT THE DOOR
Schedule
Mondays the TK students have Library.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays they attend P.E. Fridays have
Computer Technology Lab.
Snacks
There will be snack time everyday, so
please send a snack with your student. If your child will be going to
Extended Services after class please provide both a lunch and a snack;

the best.
Physical
Education
Days
Our class will have P.E. on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week. Girls need to wear shorts under
their jumpers. All students need to wear athletic shoes on those days.
Students will not be required to change clothes. Please make sure the
shoes have non-marking soles so they won’t leave marks on the gym floor.
Computers
Students will attend Computer Lab once a
week. The technology
teacher will provide students with extra practice on letters using
various software programs as well as teaching students about the parts
of a computer.
Library
Students will visit the school library once
a week. Students will
be read a story, browse through grade level books, and check books out.
TK students are asked to have only one book checked out at a time.
Report cards are held at the end of the school year until all library
issues are resolved either with the return of a book or a fine paid.
