St. Ignatius appreciates the benefits and value that music brings to each child. St. Ignatius offers an opportunity for each student to join the Catholic School Band and learn to read music and play an instrument. The Band meets once a week after school and the students have the opportunity to join with band members from other Catholic schools for various musical opportunities throughout the year.

Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity at St. Ignatius, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group before volunteering.

THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
