Dear St. Ignatius School Families,

We appreciate your patience as we try to navigate as best as we can with regards to all things related to Parent Club activities and requirements for the 2020-2021 school year. We have heard from several concerned parents about their fundraising and volunteer opportunities so please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

• Parent Volunteer Hours – For the 2020-2021 school year, the volunteer commitment has been lowered to 20 total hours per family in support of school and Parent Club events. The hours are due April 15, 2021.
  • 10 hours of Regular volunteer hours (e.g., helping out the teachers/school, yard duty, room parents, coaching, athletic committee, CSAC)
  • 10 hours of Parent Club volunteer hours (e.g., Amazing Grapes, See’s Candies, Winter Marketplace, Gala, all other Parent Club related activities)
  • For this year only, volunteering for the Parish will be optional, however it is always welcome and will continue to count as Regular hours
  • Please continue to look for more opportunities in the SchoolSpeak emails and in SchoolSpeak
• Parent Club Fundraising Requirement
  • For the 2020-2021 school year, each family is responsible for supporting Parent Club fundraisers by generating fundraising dollars in the amount of $350 by April 15, 2021
  • Half of all sales from our school fundraisers (Boon Supply, Amazing Grapes, See’s Candies, Winter Marketplace, Gala, etc.) will be applied towards the requirement
  • You can also purchase gift cards and donate back to the classroom and/or Parent Club events and receive 50% value towards your fundraising credit
