On January 31, each St. Ignatius basketball team player (5th-8th grades JV and Varsity Comp and Rec) will participate in the St. Ignatius Baskets for Bucks free throw contest.  All proceeds benefit the St. Ignatius Athletic Program.

Players will solicit sponsors who pledge either a specific amount per basket made or a flat donation.  After the event, players will tell their sponsor how many baskets they made and collect the pledge.

To reach our goal, we hope that each participant finds at least 5 sponsors.

Target Goal for each player is 100 free throws. 

Each player will collect pledges and return monies to their coach by February 11.  Checks should be made payable to “St. Ignatius Athletics.” 

Prizes will be given for:

·        Most free throws made per player on a team

·        Most money raised per player on a team
