The extended services program provides supervised care for students before and after school. The energetic staff members coordinate homework, recreation, snack, relaxation, and companionship for the students in their care.
Extended service fees for families using the monthly payment plan can be paid at one time, or in monthly installments, with automatic payments being made through FACTS Tuition Management Program. For families using extended on an occasional basis fees are billed monthly with payments made automatically via your FACTS account upon receipt of invoice.
Please be advised that Hourly Extended Services bills for December 2016 will not be sent out at the end of December. Instead, all Hourly Extended time for the months of December 2016 and January 2017 will be included on one bill dated January 31, 2017.
If you would like, you are welcome to pre-pay your Hourly Extended Services for the month of December. To do so, please send a check to the School Office, attn: Laura Legrand. Your account will be credited accordingly.
Transitional Kindergarten is a half day program. TK will be in the classroom with Mrs. O’Hara from 8 am. until 12 pm. TK students staying after 12 pm. will come to Extended Services for lunch, recess, and quiet time.
After quiet time, the TK Extended Day program includes calendar, jobs for the week, story time, arts and crafts, and free play. TK extended day supervisors will provide activities which extend and enrich the concepts presented during the TK class.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST complete an on line course provided by LawRoom and our Safe Environment for Children Program.
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A PROOF OF CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
