Lower grades Science is all about hands on
experiences.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
are the gateways to critical thinking and developing the
conceptual skills students need to understand the world around
them. These skills, combined with the ability to problem solve,
work collaboratively, conduct research, and planning and
executing a design process are considered the foundation to
innovation that is needed for our students’ future success.
St. Ignatius has a fully implemented NGSS Science program for 1st
– 8th grade.
Family Science Night is back for another great night of Science
and Engineering for our entire community. This fun,
hands-on free event is Wednesday, March 4th 5 -
7pm in the Parish Center (gym). Teachers have made
this a “no homework” night to encourage all students to
attend.
Would you like to join us as a presenter at our Family Science
Night? We are seeking hands on exhibitors for our 2026
