The Technology curriculum is being redesigned to align with the NEW 2016 national technology standards outlined by ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education). The ISTE Standards for Students are designed to empower student voice and ensure that learning is a student-driven process of exploration, creativity and discovery.
The technology classes are being revised from teaching basic computer skills that will be folded into the classroom curriculum and focusing more on current technology topics such as coding, media literacy, collaboration, animation and video projects. This will help students with researching, demonstrating creative thinking, constructing knowledge and collaborating on work.
Our students are at the center of everything we do. As educators, our foremost goal is to prepare them for their future. The ISTE Standards for Students describe the skills and knowledge they need to learn effectively and live productively in an increasingly global and digital society.

Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group.
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
