At Open House, the 8th grade class hosted a Marketplace to support their non profit organizations as par to f their Arrupe Project. Because of the generosity and support of our school community, we were able to raise funds and awareness for 34 different non profit organizations.

Based upon Catholic Social Teaching, Scripture (Matthew 25), and the Corporal Works of Mercy, the goal of the Arrupe Project is to empower students to become men and women for others through faith, service, and justice as they demonstrate our school’s Student Learning Expectation of Being Committed to Doing Justice.

Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity at St. Ignatius, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group before volunteering.

THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
