St. Ignatius of Loyola teaches us that through education we can
create men and women for others. It is the spirituality of our
founder that makes Jesuit education, not just a great education,
but a life-altering experience.
Support of St. Ignatius Parish School allows us to offer tuition
assistance to families in need, improve curriculum, as well as
support our fine arts, science, foreign language, and technology
courses. Your contribution makes it possible to continue
our high academic standards, in addition to nurturing the
spirituality of our students.
Our amazing community built a world-class school. Now we
just have to complete our field. Thanks to all of you who
have donated the last few years.
The new field will enhance our Physical Education curriculum
as well as provide a safe place for our students during school
recesses, after school play in our Extended Program, and during
the many Parochial Athletic League practices including Flag
Football and Track & Field. The new field will also extend
our community involvement by hosting River City Soccer League
Games and practices.
In recent years St. Ignatius has seen an increase in the number
of families in our community who require financial assistance to
send their child to our parish school. In response to this need,
St. Ignatius Parish School began an Adopt-A-Student Fund that
will provide financial grants for students that will ensure their
dream of a Catholic education is realized.
On behalf of our entire staff, we welcome you to St. Ignatius Parish School. At St. Ignatius Parish School, you are part of a close knit community, who live their faith, and see the children thrive under the leadership of our pastor, Father Mike Moynahan.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a
field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST
complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO
THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY
SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This
training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
