The Student Council of St. Ignatius School is comprised of 7th and 8th graders who are elected by the student body to be leaders in the areas of learning, faith formation, service, and fun. With the help of class representatives, the Student Council plans and implements activities throughout the year to enrich the school life of the entire student body.
On Dress-4-Funds days students may choose to wear free dress if they bring $2.00 to support Student Council activities. Student Council uses the proceeds from Dress-4-Funds days to purchase supplies for activiites such as sports rallies, trunk-or-treat, the talent show, and the Easter egg hunt.
Our first Dress-4-Funds day is Wednesday, September 19th. Please bring $2 to support Student Council. Watch the school calendar for future Dress-4-Funds dates.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST complete an on line course provided by Catholic Mutual Group.
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
