St. Ignatius’s co-ed Cross-Country team runs long and hard each fall. This sport is available to students in fifth through eighth grade.
Coach Fitz and SI staff member Carol Nelson will be leading our Cross Country team this year.
Come run! The 2017 Cross Country season is about to start. Cross Country is a great way to inspire a life long love of running. Everyone participates. We compete as a team and athletes compete against themselves. It’s a great second sport that is extremely flexible with commitments for school and other teams. Kids run in three practice meets and a Championship meet. Parents: these practice meets are very short.
For more information contact Coach Fitz at email@example.com
Students interested in participating in Cross Country should attend the information meeting on Thursday, August 17th immediately after school.
More information coming soon about the first practice day for Cross Country.
The SI Medical Release form needs to be completed by the student’s physician after June 15th of the school year in which your student will be participating in a sport for St. Ignatius. Once completed and turned into the office, the Medical Release form is valid for the entire school year.
Emergency contact forms are due to each Coach either at tryouts or by the first practice.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST complete an on line course provided by LawRoom and our Safe Environment for Children Program.
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A PROOF OF CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
