In second grade the students prepare for the reception of their first Reconciliation and First Eucharist. The eighth graders prepare for the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation. The sacramental preparation programs are an important part of the curriculum for these grades.
Participating in sacraments is an important part of the spiritual life at St. Ignatius School. Each class, grades first through eighth, receives Eucharist weekly at mass. During Advent and Lent, third through eighth grades partake in the sacrament of Reconciliation.
For more information about Faith Formation opportunities, including preparation for the Sacraments, please download the attached documents and contact Fatima Avila-Ohlsen at 916-482-9666 ext. 238 or firstname.lastname@example.org .

Second grade is a special year because your child is invited to receive two other sacraments, Eucharist and Reconciliation. Please open the attached documents for more details about Sacrament preparation.
