The St. Ignatius Parish Preschool is designed to meet the
developmental needs of young children. Within this caring,
Catholic program children have the opportunity to create and
explore with time for solitary play and group activities. They
learn problem-solving and personal-interaction skills through
firsthand experiences. With a balance of self and
teacher-directed activities children develop a positive
self-image in a supportive, nurturing, and warm atmosphere.
This new Religious Education Program is for preschool children
(ages 3-5). This is a great opportunity for your child to learn
about Jesus with other children while you attend the 9:30 am Mass
on Sundays. This program will meet on Sundays during the 9:30 am
mass for 1 hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am). This program requires
parent participation and we
are also in great need of volunteers to facilitate and help.
Please let us know if you can help.
Our Parish offers dinner to those who are hungry on the last
Wednesday of the month. Each grade in the school provides
donations for those who attend the dinner. The Preschool
classes are asked to bring in toiletries. Travel sized are
preferred but any size will be taken. Please place your
donations in the Bounty Box in the Preschool Classrooms. Thank
you for your contributions to this important ministry.
Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous
Teach me to serve as you deserve,
To give and not to count the cost,
To fight and not to heed the wounds,
To labor and not to seek to rest,
To give of myself and not ask for reward,
except in the reward that I am doing your will.
St. Ignatius, pray for us.
