While St. Ignatius School does not have a school soccer team,
many families choose to participate in a soccer club operated by
the River City Youth Soccer League. Please follow this link
to the club’s web page so you can learn about this organization.
Unfortunately, after many months of tracking the Coronavirus and
our governing body’s attempts to safely return back to play, we
are regrettably canceling the soccer season. The decision
was made on Tuesday, July 21st, at a special meeting of the River
City Youth Soccer League.
The St. Ignatius Soccer Club Board would like to thank Troy
Rowsey and his family for their amazingly generous donation to SI
Soccer. In partnership with his company, Renegade Classics,
Troy’s incredible generosity will allow so many girls and boys to
benefit from the camaraderie and fun of playing SI soccer! Thank
you Troy, Jamie, and the Rowsey Kids!
The SI Soccer Club is in the process of becoming a nonprofit
organization. If you or someone you know is a CPA and would
like to help our SI Soccer Club, please contact us. In
return, Regular Parent Hours with the school can be earned and
the club can also provide compensation at a negotiated rate.
