Family Promise is a program hosted by religious congregations in Sacramento for families experiencing crisis homelessness. A host church or congregation agrees to provide housing and meals for up to four families at their church for a week. The Family Promise organization then provides transportation to schools and work or training for work. It also provides other services to assist the family. A family stays in the program moving from church to church for enough time to get back on their feet and save enough money to enable it to move back into housing. St.
Please consider being a part of one of the most gratifying ministries at St. Ignatius Parish. The Martha Ministry volunteers are responsible for providing a luncheon reception in the Garden Room for families in our parish who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. Most often, the funeral is held in our church and the guests arrive in the Garden Room immediately after the service.

This Religious Education Program is for preschool children (ages 3-4) . This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about Jesus with other children while you attend the 9:30 AM Mass on Sundays.
As we begin this new school year at St. Ignatius, we would like to welcome you and your child/children to the Sacrament Preparation Program. Second grade is a special year because your child is invited to receive two other sacraments, Eucharist and Reconciliation. Please open the attached documents for more details about Sacrament preparation.
Anyone who would like to volunteer their time at school, on a field trip, or any activity that involves our students, MUST complete an on line course provided by LawRoom and our Safe Environment for Children Program.
THIS TRAINING IS MANDATED AND A PROOF OF CERTIFICATE MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BEFORE YOU MAY VOLUNTEER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SCHOOL EVENTS/FUNCTIONS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. This training must be renewed EVERY 3 years.
