The Catechetical Department is looking for help during the

You are invited to participate in a sharing session concerning
the recent Diocesan publication of the list of clergy credibly
accused of sexual abuse. A panel of parishioners will share
their thoughts and feelings followed by time for small group
sharing. The evening concludes with a healing service where the
stories of survivors of abuse will be read and these persons
prayed for as a parish community. All are welcome in the Garden
Room on Tuesday evening, May 21st from 7-9pm.
The Alter society is seeking parent volunteers to
help with light church cleaning. You will earn parish hours
We need 1-2 people this Saturday, Feb 16 and Feb 23 (also a
Saturday). We have members who are occasionally sick or who
no longer are able to help with the cleaning. The work
includes, dust mopping the altar, vacuuming a room, changing the
holy water and replacing votive candles. The February group

Advertisements will offset our printing cost and benefit our
Family Promise is a program hosted by religious congregations in
Sacramento for families experiencing crisis homelessness. A host
church or congregation agrees to provide housing and meals for up
to four families at their church for a week. The Family Promise
organization then provides transportation to schools and work or
training for work. It also provides other services to assist the
family. A family stays in the program moving from church to
church for enough time to get back on their feet and save enough
money to enable it to move back into housing. St.
Please consider being a part of one of the most gratifying
ministries at St. Ignatius Parish. The Martha Ministry
volunteers are responsible for providing a luncheon reception in
the Garden Room for families in our parish who are experiencing
the loss of a loved one. Most often, the funeral is held in
our church and the guests arrive in the Garden Room immediately
after the service.
