St. Ignatius appreciates the benefits and value that music brings
to each child. St. Ignatius offers an opportunity for each
student to join the Catholic School Band and learn to read music
and play an instrument. The Band meets once a week after
school and the students have the opportunity to join with band
members from other Catholic schools for various musical
opportunities throughout the year.
St. Ignatius offers its students the opportunity to participate
in Baton. Baton is a combination of juggling, gymnastics,
and dancing. The participating students meet after school

they can participate in various community events throughout the
year.
Students in first through eighth grade can join the St. Ignatius
Chess Club. Chess is a great game that can be enjoyed for

make-and-take projects they have made themselves! Model rockets,
periscopes, Mad Science putty, and more!
St. Ignatius students participate in Missoula Children’s Theater
Company once a year. Our students spend many hours
preparing for the culminating performances.
