The pledges and laps may have slowed for another year, but we cannot let the school year end without a huge shout out to the Fun Run event co-chairs, Anna Lizzette Umali and Morgan Ahern. Thank you for your time and organization, but mostly, your dedication and leadership! The Parent Club is grateful for all our volunteers who helped make this fundraiser successful and fun for our students. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, sent messages, and came out to support our school!

In early May we held the first annual Cannonball Classic and welcomed over 70 golfers to the S.I. golf tournament at Haggin Oaks. This year’s co-chairs, Jamie Sammut, Kevin Ahern, and Vince Cancilla, created a fun and memorable day. We are thankful to them for bringing back this tradition.

An extra special thank you to Nikki Le for her contributions and talents in providing a beautiful flower bar during Teacher Appreciation Week for our fabulous S.I. faculty and staff. And an extra thank you to Nikki for decorating the Teacher Appreciation luncheon.

We rounded out this year’s Parent Club events with the Mother/Special Friend and Sons Night on the Green. A special thank you to Laura Tijan Segura for her family’s support of the event. Melissa Cohen and Stephanie Byers continued with their fabulous balloon designs, providing a fun photo backdrop.

We know these activities and events are not possible without the countless volunteers, sponsors, donors, and participants. Thank you to our community for your continuous support and generosity. We are truly grateful and have enjoyed serving as presidents this year. It has been an honor, and we hope core memories were created and the funds raised provide phenomenal growth opportunities for our children. We are also thrilled to welcome the incoming Parent Club co-presidents, Anne Cordisco and Fallon Neuvert.
