Your students are learning to apply these principles in the classroom, at home and beyond: to love their neighbors (classmates, family and beyond), use their gifts to serve them, and work together as a team. Students will also be reflecting on how this love for our neighbors is only possible because of the love we first receive from God.

TRY THIS AT HOME: Within family life, it’s easy to overlook the gifts that each member brings to the table because we are so familiar with each other. If we are not intentional, we can miss the unique contribution that each member of our family is to the team (family unit). Take time together as a family one day this week, affirming each member for the unique gifts they bring. You’ll never regret a moment spent celebrating each other!
